Here you can find the various harbors for any of the six Necron Islands. As an Isle, it is supposed to have one designated harbor, which is Shadow Harbor. However, instead of giving separate names to the countless little harbors that dot the coasts of the islands for transportation reasons, they are all grouped together and called simply The Dark Harbors. Come here to catch a ship to another Island, or to Another Isle altogether.

Underneath the Necron Empire is a vast tunnel system that connects each of the Necron Isles. Unique to this Island chain alone, it is something the Necronians flaunt; the Entrances are well advertised and easily accessable. If walking is your preferred method of travel, or if you just like dark places, the Tunnels are the place for you. Don't worry, the last tunnel collapse was over a hundred years ago, the chances of another happening are slim. And it's not like monsters patrol the dark corridors of earth and stone...

Here is the Merchant's Square of the Necron Islands. In the various towns you may find small shops and the like, but here is the main place to buy supplies. In the shadowed shops and stalls along the streets you can find anything from weapons to common household goods, like food. Perhaps a simple sword is what you seek, or a magic mage's staff? You can find it here. Don't let the shopkeepers intimidate you too much; if you think they are scary, you won't last in the deeper parts of the Necron Empire.

Located on the southern branch of Necron, this is the Capital of the chain. The more prominant, wealthy members of society live here, in what may be the largest city in the Isles. From here you can catch a quick ferry ride to Iridani's Northern tip. It is here that the Tavern of Zion resides, as it is in the better situated trade location, closest to Fang'd, which imports all the goods that are later shipped to the other various Islands in the Necron Empire. With all those goods come wealthy traders, which will be looking for good entertainment, food, and a place to stay.

No New Posts Gate Town of Tyria

Located at a central point in the dark plains of Necron Island's point, it plays an important role in the Empire. It is home to the great Market, and houses the Gate. The town is protected on the western side by a great wall that stretches the width of the continent, in which is a giant Gate. This wall and gate protects the town from the cursed woods of the Maguuma Wilds, lest they be overrun by both forest and monsters. To get to the wilds, one must pass through this gate, or a similar one in Grenth.

Much like the council caverns on Colera, the Dark Citadel rests atop the highest mountain on the Island of Necron. Plains for dragons to land surround this mountain; the council might not consist of all dragons, but they do have their minions and followers. The Citadel itself is there for the comings and goings of smaller beings, while deep beneath it in the dark heart of the mountain is where the three Rulers of the Empire have their discussions. If you seek an Audience with one or all of the Shadow Rulers, this is where you would go. No voice goes unheard.

Most of the Necron Islands are uncharted, unsettled forests, twisted by the dark magic of the mages that reside over the islands. The land is corrupt, warped into a being just as dangerous and alive as the abominations and mosters that stalk beneath the gnarled trees. It is said there is a lost settlement somewhere in the depths of the woods, its inhabitants swallowed up by the forest. Dare you brave the Magumma Wilds, where even the safty of numbers cannot protect you.

The second largest settlement in the Empire, Kryta is located near the southern shores of the island Syte. Because it is near both the sea and the Black Lake, it is known for its eerie mists during the dark hours. Though it may appear like a ghost town, it is far from it. Syte is one of the safer islands, though it too is covered mostly by the Maguuma Wilds. The creatures seem less fierce, perhaps because of the calming quality of the lake. It is a more or less peaceful place to live, with a little excitement every now and then to keep you on your toes. And if adventure is more your thing, the wilds are just a field away...

No New Posts Commercial Town of Melandru

Located on the Southeastern Island of Fang'd, it is the main trading port of the Necron Empire, as it is located closest to the other Isles. Though it recieves all the imports, it is a relatively humble city, the least corrupted by its rulers, and farthest from the dark mages. Along with the necessary imports which it ships to the rest of the Necron Chain, it deals greatly in beast trade. Rare monsters from the Maguuma are brought here to be traded to other Isles as exotic pets for the wealthy. Though it exports beasts, it also imports more friendly creatures to populate their small island. Let the rest of the Necronians deal with the monsters of their making, the more normal inhabitants of Fang'd will forever enjoy the peace of not having to protect their city from a ravenous jungle and muerderous monsters. If you're looking for a pet, this is the place to be.

Ah, the fabled Death Academy. Yes, there is a school for Necromancy, though few venture within its walls. The rites and rituals are kept secret from all outsiders concerning what is taught and how one becomes a Necromancer, but one thing is certain: living enter the academy, and only the dead come back out, as corpses or mages. It's a one way ticket to the otherworld. The question is, do you have what it takes to make it back to this one?
